FAQs

Q: What is the dress code at Top of the Hub?
A: Business attire is required during lunch in the dining room. For dinner, business/dressy casual are appropriate.  Jean shorts and flip flops are not allowed in the dining room (khaki/dressy shorts are acceptable).
More casually dressed diners may dine in the lounge. Hats, sleeveless shirts (for men), and athletic clothing are not allowed.

Q: Can I reserve a window table?
A:
Upon making a reservation, you can request for a table by the window.  However, we are unable to guarantee that we can accomodate you.  We do not preassign any tables.  It is based on what is available when you arrive.  The front desk will give you an estimated wait time, and you may choose to wait for the next available window table. This applies for the walk in basis for the lounge as well.

Q: Do you validate parking?
A: Yes, we provide a discounted validation for the Prudential Garage only.    Please remember to have your server stamp your parking ticket before you leave.

Q: Do you take reservations?
A: Yes, we take reservations for lunch, brunch, or a full dinner. Guests who are interested in just drinks, desserts, or light appetizers may join us in the bar or lounge area (walk in basis). Reservations are taken both over the phone and via OpenTable, our internet-based reservation system. Click here to make a reservation.

Q: Can you bring your own cake to lunch or dinner?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot allow you to bring your own cake, but do have an on-site pastry chef. We would be happy to make a cake for your gathering with at least 24 hours advanced notice. The only exception is if you require a kosher cake, which you may bring in. Please contact us by calling (617) 536-1775 to order a custom-designed cake. We would need at least 24 hours notice for any cake orders.

Q: Can I bring my own wine?
A: No, state law prohibits customers from bringing wine into the restaurant. Please contact us by calling (617) 536-1775 to request a special bottle of wine or champagne for your dinner.

Q: Can I bring my own flowers?
A: Yes, you may bring your own flowers or place an order through our florist, Louis Barry, by calling (617) 437- 1058

Q: Does the lounge/jazz music have a cover charge?
A: No, but after 8pm the lounge tables do have a minimum spending requirement of $24 per person for food and beverage.
